OUR PROGRAM

Our general camp program is designed to create a warm, nurturing, safe and supportive Christian environment. It is our hope that campers will grow in their faith, make lifelong friendships, and develop strong Christian values.

The program evolves as campers age...

Our youngest, JUNIOR Campers, will experience Structured Variety to assure that they are exposed to a wide range of activities.

MIDDLE Camp program offers Structured Choice, which provides the opportunity for campers to build their own schedule while pushing them towards trying new things.

The oldest group, UPPER Campers, will experience an activity program with the philosophy of Choice with Structured regular schedule, but the choice of activities is entirely theirs.

Horses, horses & more horses...that is the motto of these special weeks of camp! Nearly half your day will be spent feeding, grooming, tacking caring for and riding horses! You will receive riding lessons appropriate for you experience - whether you are just starting out or hoping to improve on your existing skills. "Go Viral" camp will provide all the tools you need to take your ideas to the screen!

• Participate in all of Oceanwood's great activities and programs, but your focus will be on building skills to produce, direct & edit your own show using our IMac's.
• Create, storyboards, & edit film with help from talented video staff!
• Explore comedy films, music videos, documentaries, and short films!
• Your week culminates with Oceanwood's Red Carpet "Premier Night!"

LDP

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

Entering grades 10 & 11

5-Weeks, July 1 - August 4
1st Year - $1080 2nd Year - $540.00
Participating in this 5-week program is SERIOUS-FUN!!

• Develop Lifelong Friendships
• Acquire new leadership & life skills
• Strengthen your Christian foundation and dive deeper into your faith

Year 1 (skill development)

• Get First Aid, CPR, and lifeguard training!
• Assist counselors with lesson plans
• Learn how to instruct camp activities!
• Practice invaluable conflict resolution & communication skills!

Year 2 (hands on)

• Lead chapel groups!
• Assist in running camp activities!
• Use your knowledge of conflict resolution to help other campers!
